Toll rises to 104 in Myanmar landslide

Yangon, Nov 23 (IANS) The toll from a landslide in Myanmar’s Kachin state has risen to 104 as the rescuers recovered more bodies, officials said on Monday.

A giant amount of dump soil from a jade mine collapsed in the early hours of Saturday and it buried about 80 huts where local miners were sleeping, Xinhua reported.
