Two policemen killed in Egypt explosion

Cairo, Sep 26 (IANS) At least two Egyptian policemen were killed and 16 injured on Saturday in an explosion in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula.

The attack occurred in Arish city when a police vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb, Xinhua news agency reported citing an interior ministry statement.

The Islamic State (IS) affiliate in Sinai has claimed responsibility for the incident.
