UAE: Indian Businessman Found Dead in Parked Car in Dubai

Dubai (Emirates 247): An Indian businessman who was found dead in his own car near International City in Al Aweer has died of a cardiac arrest. An official source from Dubai Police confirmed to Emirates 24|7 that VK Abdul Salam (32) who was running a pest control company in Dubai was the deceased person.

The man was found dead, still sitting inside the car. Dubai Police started an initial investigation confirming the cause of death as cardiac arrest.

“There is no criminal intention behind the death. It is a case of death caused by heart attack,” an official source in Dubai Police confirmed.

After finding the dead body, Dubai Police transferred the body to the Forensic Laboratory to ascertain the reason for his death, which looked mysterious in the beginning. Abdul Salam, who hailed from Varuvin Kalayail in Adivaram was found dead on Sunday afternoon in his car parked outside the Pest Control office in International City, his relatives said.

The man is survived by three brothers. “He was missing since 1pm on Sunday (June 7, 2014) and when his friends saw the car, they opened the car and found him dead. He was sitting on the front right seat and the vehicle key was found inside the car.”

He is survived two children – one is seven years old and another is four years old. He used to live in Sharjah and his office was near the Internatinal City. “His three brothers lived in the UAE and they are all sad about his untimely demise. Abdul Salam has been working here for about 15 years,” said a family friend.

His friends are curious to know who was driving the car and whether he had any party with any friends before his death. Dubai Police has released the dead body, and confirmed that the death was caused by cardiac arrest.

A lot of the man’s friends and relatives in the UAE joined in the funeral prayers and the body has been repatriated to his home town on Wednesday evening.
