Udupi: 18-year-old Student Killed in Hit-and-run Incident at Ambagilu

Udupi: In a hit-and-run case, a college student died on the spot, on the NH 66, near Ambagilu here on August 19.

The deceased has been identified as Supreeth Shetty (18), Son of Prabhakar Shetty resident of Chantharu Brahmavar.

Supreeth lost control of the bike and was thrown to the ground. His head hit the median killing him on the spot.

Since the incident happened in a matter of seconds, no one around was able to note down the registration number of the truck.

He was studying in Sneha Tutorials Udupi. Traffic SI Madhu reached the spot. A case has been registered in the Udupi traffic police station.
