Udupi: 25-year-old man found dead in Ajjarkad Bhujanga park

Udupi: A 25-year-old man was found dead at the Bhujanaga Park Ajjarkadu here, on January 4.

The deceased has been identified as Raju (25), resident of Pangala near Katapadi. He was working as a sweeper of Kaup grama panchayat.

According to the police, Raju committed suicide by consuming poison at the park on Sunday night. On Monday when people came for the morning walk, they found Raju on the park bench in a unconscious state and alerted to town police station. The police officials arrived at the spot and found that Raju had already died, the body was sent to the Government Hospital for post mortem. The exact reason for this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

A case has been registered in Udupi Town Police Station.
