“What is final in life is not the goal; one should also focus on achieving something. The Government of Karnataka has hiked the budget of Prathiba Karnaji after a letter was sent to the Department of Public Instruction. This programme has been effectively organised to cater to young talents,” he added.

Priyanka Mary Francis, CEO of Zilla Panchyat, said that personal hygiene promotes clean villages. Stressing on the need for cleanliness, she said, “Villages have turned into dumping yards and students should play effective role in promoting cleanliness in the villages. The youth who are students today, are tomorrow’s policy makers. Effective education is learning and also polishing one’s talents. Every youth should excel in life.”

Philomena Lobo, Director of Public Instruction, appreciated the district administration for organising Pratibha Karnaji. “Children should keep their talents alive. This will transform them and also help them in strengthening their career prospects,” she added.

Diwakar Shetty H. DDPI (Administration) welcomed the gathering. Vasanth Shetty compered the programme.

Top scorers in SSLC examinations in the state were felicitated. A rally was held prior to the programme.
