Udupi: Former president of Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike Youth Wing was Killed in a Road Accident, near Kaup Petrol Bunk here on December 15.
The deceased has been identified as Nischal Shetty (34), a resident of Beedu Padubidri. He was the former president of Tulu Nadu Rakshana Vedike-Udupi district.
According to the initial reports, Nischal Shetty was returning to Padubidri from Udupi when a truck hit his bike from the rear. Nischal Shetty sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a private hospital in Udupi, where he was declared brought dead. He is survived by his wife and family members.
The Kaup police are yet to register a case.
