Udupi: Expulsion of Congress Members Recommended for Anti-party Activities

Udupi: The district unit of the Congress party has written to state party president Dr G Parameshwar seeking expulsion of KPCC member B Bhujanga Shetty.

He has been accused of indulging in anti-party activities by way canvassing votes for the rebel candidate. Since he is a KPCC member, any action has to be taken at the state level.

On similar grounds, the DCC has expelled Brahmavar block Congress former president Birti Rajesh Shetty and former Harish Shetty Cherkadi from the party.
