Udupi: G Shankar Family Trust Distributes Scholarship to 1600 Students
Udupi: The G Shankar Family Trust distributed Scholarships to 1600 students and also distributed financial assistance to elderly Yakshagana artistes of undivided Dakshina Kannada district at Shamili Auditorium on Saturday July 30.
The programme began with an invocation Anand S K member of G Shanker Family Trust welcomed the gathering. Naveen Intel Bengaluru inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Scholarships were distributed to 1600 talented economically-weaker students of SSLC, PUC, Degree and Post gradation.
SSLC toppers Shashikanth (Kannada Medium), Chaithra, Vivek Giridhar, Venkatesh Puranik, Vikram and Raksha D Anchan (English Medium), Second PUC toppers Neha D Shetty, Adithi, Raksha Shenoy, Sonia, Toppers Students of Shamili PU College Suraksha G Devadiga, Sanath Kotian, Anlin Joseph and young scantest award winner Pampana Gowda were felicitated on the occasion.
Veteran Yakshagana artistes H S Gopalkrishna U Sringeri, Hadinabalu Sripad Hegde, Kodi Vishwanath Ganiga, Aralagodu Mahadeva Naika, Manjugowda Gunavanthe, Ananda Purusha Jodukallu, Vishwanath Gowda Thodikana, Mohan Baipadithaya and Uday Kumar Molahalli were distributed financial assistance.
In his message Dr G Shanker president of G Shankar Family Trust called upon the students to make use of the scholarship and work hard to achieve success in life.
