Udupi: The central government should form a committee with officials from the PMO, Intelligence Bureau, External Affairs, CBI, historians and research scholars to probe KGB files with information of Subash Chandra Bose said his grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose. He was speaking at a press meet on his visit to Udupi to attend a programme organised by the Yuva Brigade at Ammani Rammana Shetty Auditorium, here on February 13.
The committee should coordinate with the Russian authorities and access the KGB files having information on Subash Chandra Bose. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Subash Chandra Bose’s KGB files and he has assured necessary support. Government of India should follow up with the Russian authorities on finding the facts in KGB files.
It is not just the Bose family wanting to know the truth as to what happened to the liberator of India, Subash Chandra Bose but the entire nation wants to know the truth.
The Shah Nawaz committee then formed by the Congress government itself indicates that Congress supressed the truth behind Subash Chandra Bose”s death. Subash Chandra Bose would have supported BJP for having nationalistic ideas. Subash Bose’s ideology is common like BJP’s nationalistic ideas. If Subash Bose would have been alive, India would have been like Singapore, he added.
