Udupi: Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar interacts with Pejawar Swamiji, conveys Chief Minister’s Wishes

Udupi: Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar, visited Sri Krishna Math and conveyed his wishes to Pejawar Math Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji at a meeting held at the Yatri Niwas, here on January 16.

Later speaking to the mediapersons Parameshwar said that the Inspector General of Police together with District Superintendent of Police has initiated several steps for the security of the devotees. The Chief Minister has conveyed his wishes as he cannot attend the Paryaya celebrations due to prior commitments and also the elections related work. Other ministers will be participating in the Paryaya celebrations. He also said that visiting this historic event brings great satisfaction and pleasure.

While asked about whether he was satisfied with the security arrangements, he said that the District Superintendent of Police has made all the necessary arrangements and he was satisfied the same.

While asked on his interaction with Pejawar Swamiji he said that the Swamiji has blessed him and has asked him to participate in the Paryaya Darbar and Procession for which he had said, “I have prior commitments, I will try to participate in the Paryaya celebrations”.

Congress leaders Amrith Shenoy and Sujay Poojary, Committee members Rathna Kumar and others were present.
