Udupi: India is heading towards fascism said G Rajshekar, President of Karnataka Komu Souhardhaa Vedike, Udupi Unit. He was speaking at a protest organised in support of JNU students in front of the Clock Tower, here on February 29.

Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh together with BJP and ABVP is ruing our nation by influencing the educational institutions with fascist policies. The emergency declared way back in 1975 was a blow to democracy but now the developments in JNU and other prominent institutions are indications of emergence of democracy together with fascism.

Minister for Home, Rajnath Singh links JNU Student Umar Khalid with LET after following a fake tweet which indicates that he is an inefficient home minister. Minister for HRD, Smrithi Irani who played a soap opera in parliament calling Rohit Vemula her son writes five letters to IIT Hyderabad which leads to Rohit’s suicide. Deliberate attempts to lead India into fascism are on, he added.

Paniraj said that the British enacted IPC 124(A) Sedition, first time since the Independence the charges of sedition are levied on the JNU students who spoke on the deliberate attempts of BJP in destroying the country and its premier institutions, he added.

Irshad Ahmed a student said that the people who voice for minorities, Dalits and possess leftist ideas are termed anti-national today. Deliberate attempts are made to silence the voices which support self-reliance in the universities. JNU has boosted revolution of self-reliance and the voices will be strengthened against the goons who promote communalism in the campuses. RSS activists preach nationalism but they never hoisted the Indian flag in their headquarters in Nagpur, saffron forces will soon witness a downfall with students voicing for self-reliance and for national integration, he added.

Akshay another student said that the central government is making all efforts to influence students with communal agendas. BJP never wants the students to excell, instead it wants the voice of students to be silenced. Instead of questioning nationalism of JNU students the nationalism of BJP has to be questioned first, he added.

Suresh of Bahujan Vidhyarthi Association said that the Hindutva forces want to adapt Manusmrithi instead of the Indian Constitution. They want to silence the voice that speaks against them. The Hindutva forces should leave the country, he added.

Yasin Kodibengre said that at one phase Smrithi Irani calls Rohit as her son and at the other terms him anti-national, this soap opera doesn’t match, he added.

Fr William Martis, Prof. Cyril Mathias, Jyothi Guruprasad, Shashidar Hemmady and others were present.

  1. There is no question that, based on the emerging ruthless attitude of the current government towards the freedom of speech which is the fundamental right in every democratic country in the world, India is shifting towards fascism and anarchy. Now it is felt very strongly in the minds of the Indian electorate, but the same thing is being watched with
greater alarm and reservation in the foreign lands too.

The current Government in New Delhi is an instituted Gujarathi imperialism. They make their own laws bypassing the rule of law and the well written U.N. charter in which India has signed. The Finance Minister has been turned as the omniscient law giver of India now.

  2. Why are they shouting slogans in Hindi when they are in Mangalooru?

What’s up with this ‘azaadi’ thing? Are they aping those despicable JNU characters? At least, they are getting better – I don’t see any azaadi for kashmeer or pakistan zindaabad slogans at this event!!!

What’s up with all the ‘black’ dress? It’s hard not to see a connection with another notorious organization that has the same affection towards black flags and dress!!!

Finally, everybody knows that ‘komu souhaarda vedike’ is a code word for anti-sanaathana, anti-brahmana groups whose only goal is to attack Hindu groups and traditions while acting as apologists for all the bad behavior by real trouble makers. No wonder AS Beef Mathew fully agrees with this group as they all share same hindu-dhwesha!!!

    • But in his ‘vibrant Gujarat’ village bans single women from owning mobile phones. – Mr Shaikh to our ‘Know-All’ Yumreeki Rampai

Well, that’s very EASY to answer, Mr. Shaikh.

See, those mob phones, no… they are NOT ‘MACK’ed’ in India no? So, how do you expect a NO ‘mack’ in India fone to be allowed into EVEN 1 small village in India, no?

And also, no.. those ‘phoreen’ phones.. they VIBRATE ‘three’ much! And you very well know that vibrations send wrong vibes to some wrong people.

You see da point, no? 🙂

Btw, did our Rampu reply to you on your pointed query? Or, is he busy calling that too as an “isolated incident”?

  6. “Sir,Truth is always bitter” writes pro-jihaadi Shaikh.

Bitter? Is it why you always run away from truth? Where is the answer to my simple question? Do you support ‘pakistaan zindaabad’ slogan at JNU?
