Udupi: LPG Tanker Lands into Gorge at Heroor

Udupi: The driver and cleaner were lucky to escape with minor injuries after a bullet tanker landed into a 20 ft deep gorge on NH 66 near Supreem Feeds Heroor here on Thursday, July 9.

According to the PSI of Brahmavar, Ananthapadhnaba, the empty tanker belonging to HP Gas was on its way to Mangaluru from Mumbai when the accident occurred at around 5:30 am. No one was injured in the accident. A crane was called to remove the vehicle from the spot, said the PSI.

The Brahmavar police visited the spot. No case has been registered in this regard.
