Udupi: Manibettu Shirva Temple Festival to be Held under Court Supervision

Udupi: The annual festival of Manibettu Mahalingeshwara temple in Shirva is scheduled to be held from Jan 23 to 26.

Currently the matter of administration in under dispute and a case is being heard in a court.

The court has appointed Alevoor Madhava Acharya, a senior advocate, as court commissioner. He has been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the smooth conduct of the festival and file a report to the court.

This information has been conveyed by Manibettu Raghu Shetty, president of the temple administration committee.
