Udupi: Movie-goers Failing to Get Tickets Create Commotion at Cinema Hall

Udupi: A large number of Kannada movie enthusiasts who had arrived at a cinema house as a pastime on Sunday were disappointed to find that all the tickets had been sold out.

But many of them alleged that it was an artificial situation created by some vested interests. They said that tickets had been bought in blocks in advance and were being sold at exorbitant prices in black market. Some even went to the extent of accusing some staff for being involved in the racket.

The disappointed crowd was angered by this and they created a rumpus outside the movie-house. To prevent any undesirable development, the management informed the police. They arrived and dispersed the trouble-makers.
