Udupi: Newly elected MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary Accorded Rousing Welcome at BJP Office

Udupi: The newly elected MLC of BJP Kota Srinivas Poojary paid his maiden visit to the BJP district office after the election results on December 30.

The party leaders and members of the Bharatiya Janata Party accorded a warm welcome to Srinivas Poojary at the District office.

Party leaders felicitated Kota Srinivas Poojary. Sunil Kumar, MLA Karkala delivered the felicitation address on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Kota Srinivas Poojary said that “I feel extremely happy with the MLC results. I have accepted the responsibilities that the party has bestowed upon me. I have carried out my duties from being a member to the Gram Panchayat, Taulk Panchayat and the Vidhana Parishath. I feel blessed that I have retained my position without spending any money in the elections. I will try my best to discharge my duties honestly, he added.

District BJP chief Thingale Vikramarjuna Hegde, women wing president Sheela K Shetty, former MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Someshekar Bhat, Gurme Suresh Shetty, Githanjali Suvarna, Naveen Shetty Kutyaru and others were present.
