Udupi: Pejawar Swamiji’s Ex driver Arif receives threat call

Udupi: Mohammed Arif former car driver of Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejavar Math has been reportedly threatened by a person from UAE on January 21.

Mohammed Arif filed a complaint in the Town Police Station Udupi. In the Complaint to the police, Arif has said that he received a call on Thursday from Dubai by a unknown person. The person spoke in Tulu language in a rude manner and threatened that he would attack him if he countinues to have contact with Pejawar Swamiji.

Mohammed Arif has worked as a driver of Pejawar Swamiji for some years. During the Paryaya Festival of Pejawar Swamiji Arif took the initiative with the help of the Muslim community to conduct the Blood donation camp, Hore Kanike procession and the distribution of Butter Milk during Swamiji’s Pura Pravesha.

The Town Police have registered the complaint and investigation is on.
