Udupi Police suspected of Colluding with Accused in Bhaskar Shetty Murder Case?
Udupi: After strong allegations from the public and the Bunt association. CCTV footage had proved that the police have given the royal treatment to the accused in Bhaskar Shetty murder case.
Reliable sources have provided CCTV footage to Mangalorean.com. The nearly 50 seconds long clip dated August 10 shows that the accused Rajeshawari Shetty and her son Navaneeth Shetty along with Manipal police were coming out after having food from a star hotel near Nitte. Rajeshwari Shetty and Navaneeth Shetty can be seen coming out and standing outside the hotel room.
On August 11, many Bunt leaders have alleged that investigation officer Girish, after the court proceedings had allowed Navaneet to sit next to him.
Pramod Madhwaraj district minister in-charge who attend the protest by the Bunt association had assured that he will personally forward the video clipping to Arun Chakravarthy, inspector general of Police Western Range.
Thereafter Circle inspector of Manipal police station who was functioning as the investigating officer in the case was replaced by IPS officer Dr Sumana Karkala ASP.

Now another video in which the police were giving the royal treatment to the accused has gone viral in the social media. The public, are of the opinion that the video clipping will be another evidence of the police being hand in glove in this murder case.
So…people in police custody are allowed to go to star hotels and enjoy chicken-tikka? This is bad even by third world standards!! What’s worse is the reaction from Congress party and its minions in media!! The local politicians are from Congress. Ruling party is Congress. Still, look at the laughable responses from the party leaders and its supporters. They are acting as if they are helpless and unaware of police actions!! Media gives a full pass to Congress leaders on pretty much every issue from broken infrastructure to a murder investigation!!! LOL Imagine the reaction from the geniuses in media if BJP were to be in power!! Oh well…
