Udupi: Rs 7.5 lakh Cash Stolen From Parked Car Near Mahakali Temple 

Udupi: A bag, containing Rs 7.5 lakh cash, kept in a parked car was stolen near Janardhana  Mahakali  Temple near Ambalpadi here, on Friday, July 24.
According to the police, Vasanth Kumar, a dealer in second-hand cars and owner of Ganesh Auto firm at Nittur, kept the bag containing cash in the car. After raising the windows and locking the vehicle, he went to the temple. When he returned from the Temple, he found the car window glass broken and the bag missing.
A case has been registered in the Town Police Station.
