The Eucharistic celebrations began at 4 pm. Fr Albert Menezes, Parish Priest of Immaculate conception of BVM Church Gangolli concelebrated the mass along with Sastan parish priest Fr John Walter Mendonca and Fr John Lewis, a parishioner priest.

The Eucharistic adoration was conducted and ceremonial procession was held from the church, passing through NH 66 and culminated at the Pandeshwar Private Higher Primary School ground Sastan, which spread around an atmosphere of great reverence. This was followed by benediction.

A large number of devotees participated in the celebrations. It was a memorable evening of divine glorification, with hundreds of non-Christian brethren watching the procession in rapt attention.

The function following the mass and the Eucharistic procession concluded with thanksgiving to the main celebrant and the volunteers for their services. Parish priest Fr John Walter Mendonca had a special word of gratitude for the police personnel who made adequate arrangements of security and smooth flow of traffic during the procession.
