Udupi: Surendra Adiga Files Nomination for Election of Dist Sahitya Parishat President

Udupi: Neelavar Surendra Adiga, immediate past president of the Udupi district chapter of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, on Friday filed his nomination for the election of the president due to be held in a few days.

He submitted his papers to the taluk magistrate and designated election officer Guruprasad.

He was accompanied by representatives of various organizations and institutions like Ravi Shetty, Sadarama Shetty, Veeranna Karuvatti Gowdar, Subrahmanya Shetty, Upendra Somayaji, Suralu Narayana Madi, Subrahmanya Shastri, Kundapur Narayana Kharvi, Sudarshan Shetty, Meti Mudiyappa and others.
