Udupi: Three Runaway Boys from Kasaragod Traced in Udyavar

Udupi: Subrahmanya (12), (Sunil (10) and Manikantha (8), said to be hailing from Perla in Kasaragod district, were found walking along the national highway by the Kaup police.

Finding them in unusual circumstances, the police questioned them. They are said to have left their homes in Perla two days earlier. They also said that they were on their way to the house of the sister of one of them in Trasi in Udupi district.

The police registered a case under Operation Muskaan and got them admitted to the remand home in Udupi.

They also flashed a message through the Internet to all police stations with a view to identifying their parents.
