Udupi: Two persons were killed on the spot when their two-wheeler hit a tipper near Beedinagudde here, on May 2.
The deceased have been identified as Narayana and Ramadas, residents of Bantakal. They were cooks by profession.
According to the police, Narayana and Ramadas were riding their Honda Activa from Manipal to Bantakal. When they reached near Beedinagudde cross road, a tipper which was being driven in front of them, suddenly stopped. The motorcyclist hit the tipper at the rear. Seriously injured, Narayana and Ramadas died on the spot.
The police have registered a case and the bodies were shifted to the hospital for post-mortem. The case is under investigation.

Its really sad . Everyday we hear about the accidents & deaths. But so far no Strict measure has been taken. Please make humps at Hampankatta roads, so that vehicle can be slow down. Also its better to built few bridges so that people can cross the roads safely.
