Udupi: A 24-year-old youth was seriously injured in a road mishap, when his bike was involved in a collision with a tipper on the Udupi – Moodubelle Road, near Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple Arch, Alevoor here on Friday, September 25.
The injured person has been identified as Sudhir, a resident of Kuntalnagar.
According to the police, Sudhir was on his way to Udupi from Kuntalnagar when the oncoming tipper hit his bike. Sudhir sustained severe leg injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Manipal.
The Manipal Police visited the spot and further investigations are on.
