Unidentified persons assault SKRDP Staff and loot Rs 2 lakh at Amasebail
Kundapur: Unidentified persons assaulted a worker of Dharmasthala Rural development Programme Office at Rattadi under Amasebail Police Station limits and looted Rs 2 lakh from her on Wednesday, September 20.
According to the police, on Wednesday morning some unidentified persons wearing helmets entered the Dharmasthala Rural development Programme Office and assaulted the office staff Preethi (24). They then took away Rs 2 lakh which was kept to be deposited to the bank. Seriously injured staff Preethi was admitted to the Manipal Hospital.
Senior Police officials, fingerprint experts and the canine squad rushed to spot for investigations.
A case has been registered in the Amasebail Police Station
