Bengaluru: In response to a question raised by MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary in the upper house of legislature on Tuesday, Dr H C Mahadevappa, state minister of public works, ports and inland water transport, has said that the four-laning work on the B C Road-Sakleshpur stretch of the national highway will be taken up by the end of December later this year.

The realignment of bends and turns and a more scientific demarcation of median points are part of the project. The contract has been entrusted to Larsen and Toubro, the minister said.
