The burning of the car was a symbolic targetting of terrorism, said Swami Chakrapani, the national president of All India Hindu Mahasabha who bought the green Hyundai Accent car in the auction on December 9.

Dawood is wanted in India for the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai that killed 257 people and injured nearly a 1,000 others.

  1. What wrong a person has done in buying Dawood Ibrahim’s car and what have the authorities done to nab the culprits? He was one of those who had a fascination to own a car that once belonged to a terrorist and don, who has millions of dollars bounty on his head.

The culprits should not only be arrested, tried and convicted and made to spend a considerable time in the slammer and even forced to cough up the money to the victim who had bought the car. However, that cannot be expected in the backward state of U.P. ruled by the Mulayam and Akhliesh Yadav combine.
