Vittal Devasya Resident Dies of Heart Attack in Sultanate of Oman

Bantwal: Ashraf Khan (45), hailing from Devasya in Vittal, died of a heart attack in the Sultanate of Oman, where he had been working for the last 17 years.

Son of Ismail Khan, former president of Vittal Meginapete central Juma mosque, Ashraf is said to have collapsed in his accommodation in Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman on Friday,

He was taken to a hospital but he failed to recover and breathed his last. His last visit to India was four years ago. After completion of legal formalities, his mortal remains were flown to India and brought home. The final rites were held thereafter.

He is survived by parents, wife and two sons.
