Los Angeles, April 18 (IANS) “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner said that actor Michael Fassbender jokingly showed her the middle finger during their first meeting.

Turner was “nervous” about meeting the 39-year-old actor when she joined the cast of “X-Men: Apocalypse”, but she said that she knew they would get along when he greeted her with a rude gesture, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I was also about meeting Michael Fassbender, but (on my first day on set) I looked over and he gave me the middle finger, jokingly, and I thought, ‘We’re going to get on’ (sic),” Turned told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine.

The 20-year-old star was signed to the next instalment of the superhero film late last year and has admitted she burst into tears as soon as she received the call from her management telling her she had secured the deal.

Asked what she did as soon as she found out, she explained: “I rang my mom and she started crying, then I started crying. It was crazy. Then my phone started blowing up”.

Lilly Allen’s stalker woes

London, April 18 (IANS) British singer Lily Allen has revealed that she was harassed by a stalker for seven years.

The 30-year-old singer says she is now “practically a hermit” after years of terror at the hands of one Alex Gray, who has stalked her online, at concerts and even broke into her house one night when she and her two young daughters were asleep, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Gray first contacted Allen on Twitter, using the handle “LilyAllenRIP” and claimed to have written her song “The fear” before sending her abusive letters and approaching her assistant and colleagues.

Speaking to The Observer, Allen said: “I had all sorts of metal shutters and locks on the doors but I had been cooking and burned a pan and opened the back door. I closed it but forgot to lock it when I went to bed. (Later that night) I sat up in bed and looked and the door handle was twisting round.”

“This guy came steaming in and I didn’t know who he was. I recoiled and he ripped the duvet off, calling me a ‘f***ing bitch’ and yelling about where his dad is,” she added.

Allen believes her stalker had a knife when he broke in and has slammed the police for not taking her claims of stalking seriously.

“”It was not special attention I looked for. It was reassurance and validation. The police made me feel like a nuisance, rather than a victim,” she said.

Gray was convicted at Harrow Crown Court of burglary and harassment earlier this month and will be sentenced in May.

Madonna attends Kabbalah session with son

London, April 18 (IANS) Singer Madonna attended a Kabbalah session with her son Rocco following their reconciliation.

The 57-year-old and Rocco, 15, recently reunited here for the first time since he fled her ‘Rebel Heart’ world tour to live with his father Guy Ritchie in the English capital, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Kabbalah is an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought that originated in Judaism.

“Madonna has relied heavily on Kabbalah to get her through this tough time,” The Sun newspaper quoted a source as saying.

“It’s great that Rocco is open to coming to the centre with her. There had been rumours her strict Kabbalah lifestyle was a reason they fell out. If so, it’s a big deal for him to join her there on his Friday night,” the source added.
