Youth Suffers Cardiac Arrest while Driving Car

Mangaluru: A 26-year-old youth died after he suffered a cardiac arrest at Kuntikan while he was driving the car here on May 3.

The deceased has been identified as Kalandar (26), a resident of Panjimogeru.

Police sources said that Kalandar had parked the vehicle near Kunitkan national highway, but when the car did not seem to move for the place for a long time, locals in the area went near the car to check, to their shock they found Kalandar in the driver’s seat without any movement and made arrangements to shift him to the hospital, they also informed the family members, who rushed to the spot. But Kalandar had already breathed his last. His body was taken to the government Wenlock hospital.

Family sources said that Kalandar was suffering from heart-related problems. Kadri police reached the spot.
