13 Branches Including Head Post Office Closed Till July 20 as Staff Test Positive for Coronavirus
Mangaluru: Thirteen Post offices including the head post office at Pandeshwar will remain closed till July 20 after two of the Head Post Office Staff tested positive for the Coronavirus here on July 18.
Thirteen post offices including the Head Post Office in Pandeshwar, Hampankatta, Ashoknagar, Gandhinagar, Boloor, Kuloor, Konchadi, Kavoor, Bejai, Kodialbail, Falnir, Fisheries College, Mangaluru Collectorate, and S O Post offices will remain closed until July 20. All the above-mentioned post offices will not be available for public service.
Two staff from the Head post office have tested positive for the Coronavirus. Both of them were visiting the other branches to look after the cash transactions. Since they had visited the 13 post offices, as a precautionary measure, all the post offices have been sanitized and closed for public service until July 20.
