131 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in DK on July 13
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 131 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus, and four persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on July 13.
Out of the 131 positive cases, four persons had returned from the Gulf. Sixteen persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts. Sixty-three persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and ten persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of thirty-eight others.
All the 131 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
On July 13, Sixty-two persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
