173 Persons Test Positive and 4 Die Of COVID-19 in DK on July 28
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 173 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus and four persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on July 28.
Out of the 173 positive cases, twenty-one persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts. Ninety-one persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and twenty-two persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of thirty-eight others.
All the 173 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, 41 persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
