20-year-old student dies after Bus Runs over him at Hemmady
Kundapur: A 20-year-old college student died on Saturday, January 28 after he was run over by a bus while at the Hemmady Junction.
The deceased has been identified as Sudeep (20) a resident of Katbelthur, Hemmady. He was a final year Bcom Student at Kageri College, Koteshwar.
The accident took place when Sudeep was travelling in a private bus from Sagar to Kundapur on Saturday, January 28 morning.
Sudeep boarded the bus at Katbelthur and was standing on the footboard as the bus was packed with people and students. At Hemmady Junction, when the driver stopped the bus, Sudeep lost his balance and fell down from the bus which ran over him. He was rushed to the nearby hospital but unfortunately, Sudeep breathed his last on the way.
A case has been registered at the Kundapur Police Station and an investigation is on.
