2018 Elections, Ghar Wapsi for Haladi Srinivas Shetty to BJP
Kundapur: The 2018 general elections is paving way for a high intense political tussle, of shifting goal posts and changing political parties continues, Haladi Srinivas Shetty’s Ghar Wapsi to BJP has intensified the political battle in Coastal Karnataka.
Speaking to media persons at Kundapur Haladi Srinivas Shetty has said that he will return to the BJP as he has accepted the invitation from the BJP leaders.
“I have not knocked doors of any political leaders in the BJP, if I join the BJP now it will set a wrong example. I am not joining BJP with any demands, I will join BJP after the model code of conduct will be announced. I have decided to join BJP after consulting the people. I have been participating in the government programmes. There has also been negative publicity in the social media but there is no confusion. I have many followers and for any confusion my followers are to be inquired”, said Srinivas Shetty.
Srinivas also said, “I have been fighting for the Varahi Project, Sugar Factory and Basava Housing Scheme. Many have been saying that projects have not been implemented in my constituency, and for the same, officials and panchayats are to be blamed. Demonetization is a very good step, GST wills benefit the country in the long run”.
