4-year-old dies after Auto falls into Well at Charmadi
Beltangady: A 4-year-old boy died when the boy in the parked autorickshaw suddenly moved and fell into the well at Mattur Charmadi here on January 21.
The deceased has been identified as Khalil (4), son of Khalandar from Beltangady.
According to the police, the father of the boy, auto driver Khalander parked his auto with his boy in it and went to bring other children from the Anganwadi. While Khalandar had gone to the Anganwadi, the auto with his son in it suddenly moved and fell into to the well killing the child.
The body was lifted from the well and sent to the Beltangady government hospital for post-mortem.
