45-year-old shop owner Hacked to death in Kumble
Kasargod: A 45-year-old shop owner was hacked to death at Mandekapu, Kumble here on May 4.
The deceased has been identified as Ramakrishna Moolya (45), a resident of Mandekapu. He was running a general store.
According to sources, on May 4, some people had come on a car which stopped in front of the shop. Two of the occupants of the car went to Ramakrishna Moolya’s general store as customers. They then hacked Ramakrishna Moolya and fled by the same car. Ramakrishna was rushed to the hospital but he breathed his last on the way.
The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained. Kumble police along with Kasargod SP visited the spot for further investigations.
