50-year-old Woman Commits Suicide by Jumping into Well at Mundkur
Udupi: A 50-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well in Jarigekatte- Mundkuru near Kinnigoli under the Karkala Rural station limits on August 28.
The deceased has been identified as Cynthia Pinto (50) wife of Lawrence Pinto, a resident of Jarigekatte, Mundkur.
According to sources, Cynthia was suffering from health issues for many years. On August 28 she jumped into the well at her house.
Cynthia has left a Suicide note stating that she was suffering from health issues.
A case has been registered in the Karkala Rural Police station and investigation is on in this regard.
Cynthia is survived by husband and two daughters.
