95-year-old man Dies of Cardiac arrest waiting to Exchange Scrapped Notes

Karkala: A 95-year-old man died of cardiac arrest while waiting in a queue to exchange scraped notes on Saturday November 12.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Shetty (95) a resident of Ajekar Karkala.

According to sources Gopal Shetty was waiting in the queue to exchange scraped notes with the new Rs 1000 notes in Corporation Bank Ajekar,  when he suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed. He was Immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he breathed his last.
Ajekar Police visited the spot.
