Accused in Babri Masjid demolition case got the justice, now demolished Temples should be rebuilt! – Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

‘A special court of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has acquitted all the accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case. We warmly welcome it. This result proves ‘Satyamev Jayate’ (Truth shall prevail) once again. Last year, the Supreme Court ruled that Ayodhya is the birthplace of Shriram and ordered the construction of a Shriram Temple. At the same time, it was proved that the Babri Masjid was an unauthorized construction’, said Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, has said.

Mr. Shinde further said, “The delayed decisions taken by the Government from time to time regarding Ram Janmabhoomi had caused an outbreak in the public. Going further, we would like to state that after the demolition of Babri, riots broke out across the country and Hindu communities and temples were targeted. One of the main accused, Dawood Ibrahim, has not been arrested yet. Hundreds of temples were demolished in Pakistan and Bangladesh. After the displacement of lakhs of Hindus from Kashmir in 1990, many temples there were demolished. Have they received justice? In Andhra Pradesh too, the process of breaking idols in many Hindu temples is going on. Why does anyone not talk about it? With this verdict, we insist that the sentiments of Hindus should be respected. Hindu temples that have been demolished should be rebuilt.
