Additi Gupta enjoys local food in Agra
Mumbai, Nov 22 (IANS) TV actress Additi Gupta, known for shows like “Qubool Hai”, “Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil” and “Ishqbaaaz”, is loving local food in Agra, where she is currently on a holiday.
“I’m on no diet, as I am enjoying the famous Agra food, specifically bedai (sometimes spelt berahi). It is a fried, puffy bread, much like kachori, served with a bowl of spicy green sabzi dotted with chunks of potato and a dollop of curd. And yes, lassi made of buffalo milk,” Additi said in a statement.
This is not her first visit to Agra.
“I have been here a couple of times as my grandparents live here. So it’s a family day holiday for me and I’m enjoying a lot. I’m here with my parents and having fun,” she added.
Additi also went to take blessings to Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal in Mathura and enjoyed cycling near the Taj Mahal.
My mother gave me independence: Devoleena
Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee said that she shares a special bond with her mother, who taught her how to be independent.
“I share a very special bond with my mom. She has every quality that makes her unique. She has taught me to have passion and be ambitious in life. She has given me space to grow independent,” Devoleena said in a statement.
Devoleena said her mother has always stood for her dreams.
“She can easily provide me a comfortable life but at times she made me struggle to enjoy my goals. She always stood for me and my dreams. She has became my priority in life,” Devoleena added.
Namish Taneja bares chest for show
Actor Namish Taneja says he has done a bare-chested sequence for the the first time for a TV show.
To participate in a college competition, his character will be seen enacting the character of Lord Shiva and perform ‘tandav’ in the Star Plus show “Ikyawann”.
“When I was a kid, I used to play young Krishna and Ram in Ramlila. I was so fascinated with Shiva’s attire that every year, I used to tell the organisers to give me a chance to play Shiva’s character,” Namish said in a statement.
“However, every time they brutally denied my request. Finally, after a long wait, I manifested what I wanted to do as a kid. Although it’s a very short time, I am super excited because I got an opportunity to play Lord Shiva and secondly for the first time I did a bare-chested sequence,” he added.
It took Namish two and a half hours to dress up and look as Lord Shiva.
Gym makes Ahwaan calm, content
Ahwaan Kumar, seen in the TV show “Kaal Bhairav Rahasya”, says he exercises daily at the gym to feel calm and content.
“I personally feel that regular exercise helps to treat depression. Taking the time to workout every day is doing something nice for yourself, which will make you feel calm and content,” Ahwaan said in a statement.
On the other benefits about gymming, he added: “Going to the gym every day puts you in contact with people on a regular basis and will enhance your social life as well as the way that you feel about yourself. You may sleep better if you exercise each day; and more sleep means more energy and a more even healthy mood. As you lose weight and get in shape, you will begin to look better.”
