AIMIT and FMMCH Forge Collaborative Partnership to Bolster Healthcare Support for Students

Mangalore: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between the Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) and Father Muller Medical College Hospital (FMMCH) on 17th October 2025, in the presence of the Management Committee Members of Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI), led by Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, FMCI, and Rev. Dr Kiran Coth SJ, Director, AIMIT Centre, St Aloysius Deemed to be University.

The MoU was signed by Rev. Fr. George Jeevan Sequeira, Administrator, FMMCH, in the presence of the FMCI Director. This collaborative initiative aims to enhance medical and allied healthcare support for the students of AIMIT, ensuring timely and quality medical assistance in both preventive and emergency situations. Various health care related training, awareness, counselling, and camps too were scripted in the MOU.

Father Muller Medical College Hospital (FMMCH), known for its commitment to excellence and ethical medical practices, has established several MoUs with reputed industries, educational institutions, and government bodies. Its steadfast adherence to quality healthcare and patient-centred service continues to earn the trust and goodwill of the community. Currently, the hospital is engaged with the health check-up of Police personnel under the Commissioners Office for general health and Cardiac health.

Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), the postgraduate campus of St Aloysius Deemed to be University, Mangaluru, is a premier institution offering MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. programmes. Renowned for its academic rigor, research orientation, and value-based education, AIMIT strives to nurture professionals equipped with both competence and compassion, contributing to the nation’s social and technological progress.
Rev, Dr Micheal Sathumayor, Administrator FMMC/FMCOAHS/FMCOP; Dr Antony Sylvan D’Souza, Dean FMMC; Dr Venkatesh BM, Vice Dean FMMC; Dr Uday Kumar, Medical Superintendent FMMCH; Dr. Steevan D Souza N, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA. AIMIT and Prof Dr Kelvin Peter Pais, Liaison Officer, FMCI, were also present during the signing ceremony.
