All Banks’ Christian Employees Association Celebrates Annual Meet 2026 in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The All Banks’ Christian Employees Association (ABCEA) convened its Annual Meet 2026 with considerable success at Bejai Church Hall on Sunday evening. The event served as a vibrant platform for members to connect and reflect on the association’s achievements.

The programme commenced promptly at 6:00 p.m., initiated by a period of fellowship and song led by Rony Crasta and the Melba duo. This engaging session established a convivial atmosphere for the evening’s proceedings.

Following the musical prelude, a welcome song was presented, after which the President of ABCEA, Mr. Marcel M. D’Souza, formally welcomed all attendees.

Mr. Francis Pais, the General Secretary, subsequently presented the Annual Report. This report detailed the association’s activities, initiatives, and accomplishments throughout the preceding year.

A particularly noteworthy segment of the evening involved the ceremonial lighting of a lamp and the unveiling of the Association’s official logo. This symbolic act, presided over by the Chief Guest, marked the commencement of celebrations for the association’s 25th anniversary year.

The Merit Awards Ceremony, also conducted by the Chief Guest, recognized and commended outstanding members’ children for their exceptional contributions and achievements. MC Dolphy introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. Sushanth Saldanha, President of the Konkani Catholic Lawyers’ Guild, Mangaluru. Mr. Saldanha addressed the audience, expressing his appreciation for the association’s dedicated efforts and emphasizing the importance of sustained unity and service within the community.

In recognition of his presence and contribution, a memento was presented to the Chief Guest. The formal segment of the programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, eloquently delivered by Vice President, Mr. Frank Miranda.

The evening then transitioned into a spirited cultural programme, encompassing a range of entertainment, interactive games, and captivating dance performances by the Naach Sobhann group. These performances infused the occasion with vibrancy and joy.

The event concluded on an optimistic note, having successfully cultivated fellowship and reinforced a sense of community spirit among all participants.
