Bantwal Police Seize 23 Roosters during raid on Illegal Cockfighting

Bantwal: The  Rural police have busted a Cockfighting ring at Madva, at Kaavalapadur here on April 6.

On getting reliable information about cockfighting at Madva, the Bantwal rural police raided the cockfighting area and arrested 28 persons. Police have also seized 23 roosters, Shamiyana, 30 chairs, Rs 13,085 cash, 4 cars, 5 autorickshaws and 22 motorbikes of persons involved in cockfighting.

Under the able guidance of DySP Ravish, the operation was carried out by the Bantwal Rural station Inspector Nagesh and team.

A case has been registered in Bantwal Rural police station.
