BD Activists Attempt to Gherao Ivan D’Souza’s House
Mangaluru: The Bajrang Dal activists failed in their attempt in gheraoing the house of former MLC Ivan D’Souza at Valencia here on October 20.
In a TV interview, former MLC Ivan D’Souza had said that the Bajrang Dal activists are extortionists, and anti-socials, which the Bajrang Dal condemned and attempted to gherao his house. But the Mangaluru South Police intervened and stopped the activists.
The Mangaluru South police have taken 8 Bajrang activists into their custody.
During the incident, Ivan D’Souza was in Hanagal in the Haveri district for the election campaign.
