This Governor walked out of the hall while the national anthem was singing. But spending Rs. 2.4 crore for renovation and Rs. 10 lakh for charter flight etc…….. the old British royalty parade in India would be regretting while watching the current Indian royalty parade of the politicians. If Modi can do justice to his word, he should start working on abolishing these ceremonial posts. It is an irony that India still has not changed from its antiquated policies like continuing with Governors whose contribution and value to the States is practically nothing related to the expenses incurred on these…. These ceremonial posts are nothing but welfare benefits to party’s loyalists at the expense of tax payers.

When every State calculate the total expenditure wasted for this post, it will be too huge.
