‘BJP Has No Moral Right in Ganapathi Case’ – Congress

Mangaluru: Speaking at a media meet in the Congress party office in Thokkottu, the party’s block president Ishwar Ullal said that the BJP had no moral right to protest over the suicide of DySP Ganapathi.

He pointed out that the BJP and Sangh Parivar workers were directly involved in the suicide of Chikkamagaluru DySP Kallappa Handibag, the murder of Harish Poojary in Bantwal and RTI activists.

Questioning as to why the BJP was silent in those matters while giving full attention to only this case, Ullal said that it showed it had different standards in different cases.

At the same time, Ullal said, M K Ganapathi had served as sub-inspector in Ullal for some time and had a good name. Hence the CM should ensure early, impartial probe into his suicide.
