BJP SC Morcha Stages Protest against Transfer of Praveen Karkera
Mangaluru: The BJP SC Morcha staged a protest on August 28, in front of the Mangalore City Corporation demanding the renaming of Town Hall after Kudmul Ranga Rao and also to withdraw the transfer of Revenue Officer Praveen Karkera.
SC Morcha member Umesh Kotian said, “Former MLA J R Lobo’s involvement behind Praveen Karkera’s transfer has proved that the Congress party never supported the Dalits. If the transfer of Praveen will not be withdrawn we will intensify our protest.”
General Secretary of BJP SC Morcha Vinaynethra Daddalkadu, B S Vasanth Kumar, Umanath Amin Nanthur, Vittal Salian, Anand Pangal, Vanitha Somanath and others were also present.
