BJP Special Executive Meeting to be Inaugurated by CM Yediyurappa in City on 5 Nov

 Mangaluru : Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at BJP Office District BJP President Sudarshan said, ” It’s going to be a proud moment for us since Chief minister B S Yediyurappa will inaugurate the State Special Executive Committee Meeting here in the City on November 5 at T V Raman Pai Hall. The meeting should have been held long back to appoint State BJP Committee members, but due to the pandemic it was delayed. It should be noted that two decades ago, an executive committee meeting was conducted in Mangaluru, and we are overwhelmed that this is the first time that a BJP Executive Meeting is held in this coastal city, after MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has been appointed as state BJP president.

Sudarshan further said “Chief minister B S Yediyurappa will inaugurate the meeting, presided over by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, while the valedictory function will be graced by Organizing general secretary B L Santhosh. For the special executive meeting, leaders of various morchas, presidents, general secretaries, party conveners co-conveners, heads of various cells, core committee members, and regional organizing secretaries have been invited, and we are expecting a large turn out. During the meeting, opinions will be sought from the leaders on organization management, including important decisions on how to strengthen the party and its future plans. Decisions on development works will also be taken,”.

During the press meet, Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, Puttur MLA Sanjeev Matandoor, District BJP Secretaries Kasturi Panja & Sudheer Shetty Kannur and MUDA chairman Ravishankar Mijar were present, among others.
