Blossom Lobo was Good and Hardworking Woman, Allegations by Husband False – Family

Mangaluru: The 31-year-old Blossom who was hacked to death by her husband William Lobo on August 18 night was a Good and Hardworking Woman said her family members.

According to the sources, on August 18 night, William Lobo came by auto armed with a weapon and hacked his wife to death. Soon after committing the crime William fled from the spot and was hiding, at around 12:45 night he went to the police station and surrendered.

While being questioned by the police, William who hails from Madikeri alleged that his wife was in an illicit relationship.

Speaking to mangalorean.com one of Blossom’s relative said, “Blossom and William got married four-and-half years ago. The couple has a three-and-half year old son. After marriage William was always fighting with Blossom. Blossom was working in a IT Company in Mangaluru and was a good and hardworking woman. She was staying in a rented house with her child. William was residing in Bengaluru and working as a taxi driver, he used to come to Mangaluru during week ends and most of the time was fighting with Blossom”.

He further said, “Five days ago, William without informing anyone, took his son to Bengaluru and hid him there. Two days back, William called his mother-in-law and informed her that the child was in Bengaluru. On the fateful night of August 18, Blossom called her mother at about 9:30 pm and said that William was fighting with her and that her life was in danger. She also asked her mother to come to Mangaluru. As soon as Blossom’s mother received the call from her daughter, sensing the urgency in her voice immediately boarded the bus at Siddapur and was on her way to Mangaluru. But Blossom was already hacked and killed by her husband William.”

He also said, “Blossom did not have any affair, the allegations by her husband are false. In fact, William was always fighting with her and demanding money. She was a good and hardworking person. Now we want to know the whereabouts of the child and get him back.”

According to Blossom’s neighbours, Blossom was a very kind and loving person. We don’t believe the allegations made by her husband.

  1. The headline is misleading and assumptive. It’s common practice to place all the blame on the husband or the man for every crime that takes place. Everyone turns a blind eye to the mental and emotional feelings of the husband simply because in indian society he’s branded that way for the faults of a few. While this guy here might be a killer and a psychopath, having an article biased in opinion in favour of a dead woman doesn’t do good for anyone let alone the little kid. It’s apparent that they were not having a proper marriage with her in Mangalore and him in Bangalore and the kid being the object of affection of both parents.

This type of nonsense in Catholic marriages is as common these days as articles which are biased in nature. There’s no journalistic credibility as is being seen worldover but people should try to break from that mould and keep it neutral until facts are full proven in any scenario.

  2. Question should not be her character. Question should be if that man had right to kill. The answer is a resounding no. It is one of the ten commandments which teaches us ‘ though shalt not kill’. Lobo man has not heard of it ; looks like. Or has he?
